Biography: Dr. Jianfeng Ping is a full professor of the College of Biosystems Engineering and Food Science at Zhejiang University. He also works in the Innovation Platform of Micro/Nano Technology for Biosensing at ZJU-Hangzhou Global Scientific and Technological Innovation Center. He obtained his B.S. degree at Zhejiang University of Technology, and completed his Ph.D. at Zhejiang University. He then moved to Nanyang Technological University as a research fellow. On January 2016, he joined Zhejiang University as a ZJU-100 Young Professor. He is an Associate Editor of Biosensors and Bioelectronics, a member of the Advisory Editorial Board of TrAC-Trends in Analytical Chemistry, Microchimica Acta, Green Analytical Chemistry, Chemosensors, etc. He also works as guest editor for npj flexible electronics, TrAC-Trends in Analytical Chemistry, Frontiers in Plant Science. Dr. Ping has published a series of papers in peer-reviewed journals, such as Nature Food, Nature Communications, PNAS, ACS Nano, etc. His current research focuses on functional materials, electrochemical sensors, and flexible electronics.
