It is a great pleasure and privilege to invite you join us at the International Conference on Pacific Rim Laser Damage & Thin Film Physics and Applications (SPIE-PLD/TFPA 2019) to be held on 19-22 May, 2019, Qingdao, China, hosted by Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE), Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (SIOM), Chinese Physical Society (CPS) and Shanghai Physical Society (SPS).

SPIE-PLD/TFPA 2019 features two topic meetings: The 8th Pacific Rim Laser Damage: Optical Materials for High Power Lasers Symposium (PLD 2019) and The 10th International Conference on Thin Film Physics and Applications (TFPA 2019). The meetings will address all the aspects of laser damage of optical materials, advanced optical materials, physics of thin films, thin film materials, technology of thin films and application of thins film, etc. Hundreds of technical invited and oral talks will be taken on, poster sessions are going to set up concurrently.
